Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant was founded in 2008 and currently employs more than 160 staff members. It is a unique and open innovation pilot and demonstration facility for process development, scale-up and custom manufacturing of biobased products and processes from lab to multi ton scale. A wide and flexible spectrum of modular unit operations combined with a team of highly trained and experienced engineers and bioprocess technicians facilitates the translation of biobased laboratory processes into viable industrial processes.
To date, Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant has successfully performed 500+ projects on a bilateral basis with 200+ companies from all over the world. It was/is also involved in more than 50 consortium-based public projects.
On 10 & 11 February 2026, Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant will be organising two JOBDAYS.
We are currently looking for different profiles to strengthen our team. To facilitate this process, we are organising two JOBDAYS, (no online participation possible). Via this webpage you can register for one of the JOBDAYS.
On 10 February 2026 we are inviting candidates for the following vacancies to attend the JOBDAY:
· Bio Process Lab Technician (Process Department)
· Bio Process Pilot Technician (Process Department - Week: Night/Early/late)
· Bio Process Pilot Technician (Process Department – Weekend: Night)
· Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Technical Department)

· R&D Engineer (R&D Department)

What can you expect from the JOBDAY?
Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant, a unique pilot facility for process development, scale-up and custom manufacturing of innovative biobased products and processes will be opening its doors to potential new staff members during two JOBDAYS.
During those JOBDAYS, we will present, in detail, our organisation, vacancies and what it means to work for BBEPP. Colleagues currently active as Technician, Engineer and/or PhD Candidate will explain what their job entails, share important insights and answer all your questions. Furthermore we will take you on a guided tour through our facilities. For those who wish, there is the possibility to schedule a job interview on the day, please let us know BEFORE if you wish us to schedule a job interview for you.
Light snacks and drinks will be served throughout the JOBDAYS.
